Helpful resources for parents and their child
The priority of the Association des Parents des Enfants Handicapés de la région de Saint-Hyacinthe (APEH) is to improve quality of life for families of children with disabilities. They have developed a number of services to help you, such as: advocacy, babysitting-accompaniment, mini-respite (1 day per week), materials library (loan of adapted toys), toolkit (bank of pictograms and reinforcement tools), documentation centre, motor and sensory awareness workshops, monthly newsletter Le Parent'hèse, sharing workshops and discussions over coffee.
